How many times have you heard the words, “Where does the time go?” I think that every time I sit down to write our newsletter and realize that I am now faced with the dilemma of having to choose from the multitude of topics and products I would like to share with you.

Already it’s that time of year that we are mindful of frost warnings if the garden harvest has not been completed. It seems like only yesterday that we were enjoying the warm spring sunshine while we planted the seeds. This is the perfect time of year to plant your spring bulbs.

We have included a new section on enticing birds to your yard. You have the option to build a birdhouse from the plans we offer or purchase one of the hundreds of ready made styles available. Entice your feathered friends with a selection from our bird feeders and baths. For the bird lover in your midst, we have an array of gifts to choose from. And when all is said and done, enjoy your yard and the birds that may choose to call it home.

As we keep up with the many changes our suppliers throw our way, we are able to add new items and sections to our ever-growing web site. Having had several requests for an area dedicated to the infants and small children in our lives, we have incorporated a segment, which includes toys, educational items, a walk in the park, and decorating to name a few. We hope you will enjoy what we have to offer.

We have been working diligently on a new department for our General Store and our goal has been met, by having a portion of it open to our on line customers before the end of September. In addition to the handcrafted and quilted items already available, we now offer Pine Needles quilt patterns by McKenna Ryan. We envision this new department will encompass an assortment of quilting and craft kits and patterns, gifts items and more for your shopping pleasure.
