Crafts don't necessarily include glue, scissors and paper. Crafts are anything you enjoy doing, be it cooking, sewing, knitting and even gardening. It is usually something that gives great pleasure, is relaxing and has to be fit into a time slot somewhere between homemaker and professional. Snowman Napkin Holders
Materials

• White felt ( 8 3/4" x 11 3/4" )
• Black felt ( 3" x 4" ) Use for hat and eyes
• Orange felt( 2" x 2" )
• Red wool or ribbon ( 6" - 8" in length ) Cut two for each holder
• Craft eye ( 2 - 3/8" eyes for each holder if not using black felt)
• Tackey glue or glue gun
• Scissors
• Use pattern made for Snowman, save pattern and print.
  
  Enlarge to 6 3/4" long by 2 3/4" wide at the widest point - this will be your original. Trace enlarged pattern onto interfacing and cut out - this will be your working pattern.
  
  

Use pattern already made for Ornament or download pattern and print. Enlarge to 6 3/4" long by 2 3/4" wide at the widest point - this will be your original. Trace enlarged pattern onto interfacing and cut out - this will be your working pattern.

Fold orange felt inhalf. Place small square end of pattern on fold.
NOTE: By positioning pattern carefully, you will be able to cut two snowmen from one piece of felt. Trace shape onto felt. Mark and cut 1" slit as shown on pattern.

Cut out black shapes of your choice hat. Cut out orange shape for "carrot" nose.

Glue eyes, hat & nose onto snowman. Make a bow from red wool/ribbon and glue to bottom "neck" area of snowman.

Make sure you don't glue the ring shut or together. Any items used to embelish the snowman should be glued on carefully to ensure you don't have trouble slipping other side of the pumpkin back through the slit.

Suggestions on uses

• Use glue and a toothpick to outline the someone's name on the hat. Sprinkle with glitter color of your choice - getnely shake off any excess. Wrap around napkin or wine glass at each place setting.
  
  
• Having a buffet? Wrap each set of utensils in with a napkin and place on the table in a basket.
